Hilda Yan (nee Lee)
Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD, AN)

“The most important factors for weight loss are knowledge, consistency and ongoing support. I’ve been through it and would like to help you with your journey as well.”

Hilda graduated with a Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics with Honours from Monash University. Since then she has worked in clinics all across Melbourne, and has helped many patients from various ages and cultural backgrounds in improving their diet, health and wellbeing.

Hilda specialises in weight management and diabetes. Her interest in food in weight management stems from personal experience struggling with her weight since childhood. Since becoming a dietitian she has found the balance in enjoying physical health, whilst still being able to enjoy her favourite foods and the social aspect of food. She is passionate about using her own past experiences, combined with her extensive training, work experience and the latest scientific evidence to assist her patients to have a healthy lifestyle without restriction and guilt.

Hilda’s interest in diabetes developed from volunteering at Diabetes Victoria camps for participants with Type 1 Diabetes, and from working with endocrinologists and diabetes educators in this area.

Hilda is also able to consult in Cantonese and Mandarin.

Outside of work, Hilda enjoys sitting down with a good coffee and a book, listening to true crime podcasts whilst walking her dog, weight training at the gym (even though she hated exercise growing up!) and volunteering in her local community.

Anne Zhu
Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD, AN)

“I consider myself a food adventurer – I love to discover, learn about and enjoy food from all around the world. I would love to hear about your food journey, and discuss how we can improve our lives with small but consistent changes in our food choices!”

Anne is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) who completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Flinders University. She is passionate about assisting clients of all age and cultural groups to meet their health goals and adapt lifelong changes, with a special interest to contribute to the Chinese community in Australia.

Anne also has a keen interest in diabetes, weight management, heart disease and gastrointestinal issues. Her interest in nutrition and wellbeing stemmed from high school, where she found herself caught up in unhealthy and dangerous dieting, damaging her relationship with food and her body. Since then, Anne was determined to study nutrition and become a dietitian, to help herself and others improve their health and wellbeing, whilst maintaining a healthy and sustainable relationship with food.

Anne is also able to consult in Mandarin.

After work, Anne enjoys discovering and trying new foods with her family and friends. Anne enjoys food from different countries, but her top 3 favourites are Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese.
